Good Cycling Facility of the Week: 9th October 2014

This is the Snelbinder bridge across the Waal River in Nijmegen.

Opened in 2004, this bridge is attached to a 19th century railway bridge, forming a direct crossing from the city to the suburbs to the north of the river. The project cost €40m. 

The bridge is wide and smooth, and suitable for pedestrians too.
