Good Cycling Facility of the Week: 2nd February 2017

This week's Good Facility is a priority crossing of a side road, in a suburb of the Dutch city of Nijmegen. 

This cycleway is bi-directional, meaning that clear priority is especially important. The cycleway is constructed of the same red asphalt through the crossing, and is on a hump, with give way markings for motorists.

The cycleway crossing point is also some distance away from the main road, meaning drivers have plenty of time to slow down and deal with the crossing once they have left the main road.
