Good Cycling Facility of the Week: 25th April 2019

This week's Good Cycling Facility is a parking-protected cycleway in a suburb of the Dutch city of Nijmegen. 

Until recently this was a wide road with no cycling infrastructure whatsoever. The carriageway has been significantly narrowed to allow the construction of cycleways on both sides of the road. New trees have been planted, and the parking is separated from the cycleway by a strip, to minimise the risk of dooring.
