This week's Good Cycling Facility is a cycle path in Voorburg, on the outskirts of the Hague, in the Netherlands (image courtesy of Just Step Sideways).
This path forms a direct route not available to motor traffic, meaning local journeys by cycle will be quicker and more efficient by cycling.
The cycle path itself is effectively constructed as a road in miniature, with a separate footway for pedestrians, a smooth surface with markings, and dedicated street lighting.
