Good Cycling Facility of the Week: 22nd September 2016

This week's Good Facility is a bi-directional cycleway at a large junction on the outskirts of the Dutch city of Rotterdam.

Turning motor traffic is held at a red light while cycles progress across the junction (and vice versa) meaning any potential conflict between motor traffic and people cycling. 

The cycleway is 4m wide, with a separate footway for pedestrians.
