Good Cycling Facility of the Week: 22nd October 2015

This week's Good Facility isn't perfect, but it gets a lot right. It is a bi-directional cycleway along Avenue Felix Faure in Nice - a connection to the seafront. 

The cycleway itself has a smooth machine-laid tarmac surface, composed of distinctive red asphalt. The kerbing on each side of the track is low, meaning that although the cycleway is not particularly wide, the effective width is maximised. There's also a centre line, to make clear this is a bi-directional track.
