Good Cycling Facility of the Week: 21st March 2019

This week's Good Cycling Facility is a cycle street in the Dutch city of Nijmegen.

As with all good quality cycle streets, the key detail is that very little motor traffic will be using the street. This particular example is a dead-end for motor traffic, meaning that the street will only be used by drivers accessing the small number of private properties along it. This helps to reduce conflict between cycling and driving, and ensures a safe and pleasant cycling environment.
