Good Cycling Facility of the Week: 20th June 2019

This week's Good Cycling Facility is a protected cycleway and bus stop bypass in Salford, in Greater Manchester.

The cycleway is surfaced in smooth, red (Dutch-style!) asphalt, and passes behind a bus stop, meaning that buses and cycling won't come into conflict with one another.

This scheme also involves more space for pedestrians (see the 'before' situation), new planting bays, and trees.
