This week's Good Facility is a road in Amsterdam where space is almost entirely allocated to walking, cycling and public transport.
This section of Sarphatistraat in Amsterdam has protected cycleways in each direction, as well as a footway - the remainder of the space is used for tram tracks (the grassed area) and a one-way section of road for private motor traffic. The space used to prioritise cycling and public transport has been (partly) created by limiting motor traffic to one-way flow.
