This week's Good Facility is a residential street in the city centre of Delft, on which all motor traffic is banned (indicated by the sign to the left of the photograph).
The absence of motor traffic on this street means the street is safe, quiet and pleasant, with plenty of space for residents outside their own houses - despite this being a relatively narrow street.
Although this is an acccess street under ordinary circumstances, for a number of years it has a functioned as a main cycle route, carrying diverted cycle traffic during a major construction project in the city centre (re-introduction of the canal and burying of the main railway lines).
