Good Cycling Facility of the Week: 13th July 2017

This week's Good Facility is the cycling and walking tunnel, underneath Amsterdam central station in the Netherlands.

The tunnel is over 100m long and passes under all the platforms of the station, providing a direct link between the river side and the city centre, not available to motor traffic. 

There is clear separation between walking and cycling, with each mode getting a distinct 5m of width, meaning that there is no conflict between the two.
