This week's Good Cycling Facility is a cycle path running directly under the railway station in Elst, a town in the Netherlands.
Not only does this path provide a fast, direct route across the railway line, without any need to stop (previously, there was a level crossing here), but this cycle path replaces a road that no longer exists. Only cycle traffic can take this direct route into the town.
The cycle path also connects directly to the station platforms, via the lifts that can be seen in the left of the photograph.
