Good Cycling Facility of the Week: 11th July 2019

This week's Good Cycling Facility is a cycleway with clear priority across a side road in the Dutch city of Den Haag.

This road is undergoing reconstruction, and the junctions have been improved as part of that project. Previously, priority for cycling only involved some painted markings. This new arrangement has clear visual priority, with no interruptions across the cycleway, and also means that motor traffic has to go up and over and hump, while cycle traffic stays on the level.
