The Embassy is currently considering the following activities. Not all are in progress at any one time, and they're all at different stages of completeness.
If you're interested in helping with one of these, or finding out more, please contact us via the contacts page. We are also trialling the use of Slack to collaborate. To join us on Slack, send us your email details and the subject 'Slack' from the contacts page.
We're hoping to assemble a library of information to support campaigners who want to better understand what good infrastructure looks like, how it works, etc. This is a long term project which will initially use the Dictionary work, and will hopefully grow from that.
We've had a number of organisations approach us to ask about affiliation, and this needs someone who can spend an hour or two a week supporing it: vetting, reviewing and engaging.
We would like a clearer picture of the different organisations who might be involved in supporting or influencing cycling policy - some of this work was done at the Embassy AGM, but we would like to expand it.
The blog round up is weekly, and a key resource for a lot of campaigners. We need people who would be interested in doing one-offs, or perhaps doing one on their own every month or two.
The Cycling Fallacies site needs some support in asnwering questions, and reviewing answers and other materials.
The Embassy is already a member of the APPCG, but we also need to make sure the Embassy voice is heard in other forums, whether in written submissions or in other forms.
