The plans for this junction are needlessly complicated, and involve pushing people cycling and walking into conflict.
The exit from Webb Street involves cycling on an area of shared use footway.
Likewise (and more problematically) the crossing from Rothsay Street to Webb Street involves cycling onto the footway on the wrong side of Webb Street, with no clarity about how to enter Webb Street.
This junction needs a much more straightforward direct crossing, on the road, separated from pedestrians. This could easily be achieved by moving back the stop line on Tower Bridge Road on the northern side of the junction.
