Save the dates

If you cycle – or walk – in London, and you’re angry about the recent deaths and lack of response from TfL or London’s politicians, you may want to save two dates in your diary.

The first is this Wednesday, 14th December, at 6pm when there will be a vigil for cyclist Ellie Carey, the sixteenth to die in London this year. More details here

The second is the evening of Tuesday 20th of December. There’s no details yet, but the organisers, Mark of ibikelondon, Danny of Cyclists in the City and the London Cycling Campaign will be posting details as soon as possible. Watch their blogs, or this news page, for more information.

The support for the recent Blackfriars Bridge and Tour du Danger rides has been amazing – yet so far nothing has been done. Let’s keep the momentum building, and the pressure on to change London’s streets for the better.
