Go Bike plan Glasgow 'infrastructure safari'

It’s not just London – this Sunday, 50 cyclists of all ages will hit the streets of Glasgow as part of their ongoing campaign to see improved facilities for all. This ride, organised by the Glasgow Cycle Forum and Go Bike! will highlight ‘the good, the bad and the ugly’ of Glasgow’s cycling infrastructure. Most importantly, it will include city councillors and officials from Land & Environment Services, along with the road designers employed by the council alongside those ordinary bike riders who have to use the facilities they provide. This is an excellent idea and we can only wish that Transport for London were as willing to join such events. To the cyclists, politicians and officials of Glasgow – Chapeau!

You can find out more here, including information on how to join the ride.
